TOPICS AND SCHEDULE
I was teaching the basics of the Large Format Photography, handling, theory and how I work with this kind of gear. We will have a lot of different cameras (Sinar, Linhof...), we will have some shootings using the LF camera für landscape, architecture and portraits shots. Than we will go to the darkroom in order to get the 4x5" films developed to get finally a positiv print out of it. In addition you will have the possibility to make a 8x10inch Polaroid Shot!

On April 1st, 2017 the second photo shooting took place, with the models who had responded to the August 14th, 2016 Kurier article by Uwe Mauch. 33 Redheads - old and young - arrived for the quarter-hour shoot and were cast in right light by Viennese photographer Helmut Mitter, after being styled by Martina Hirsch. The photographs are being shown in the exhibit newly created by Helmut Mitter.

Helmut Mitter presents his Redheads at the Galerie am Park in Vienna. More than 120 people has been listening to the opening speech from Monika Obermeier and Helmut Mitter. Uwe Mauch was reading his Essay about the Ginger people and about his own experiences being a Redhead himself. The exhibition is open till November 19th, daily from 3:00pm till 8:00pm.

...5 years ago I starteded to photograph Redheads... and now I am ready to show more than 50 portraits, printed and large format Fine Art paper and will show them in an exhibition in Vienna . For the last five years, the 50-year-old Viennese, who has been photographing architecture, industry and people, has been working on a project that requires a lot of heart and soul. He is portraying people who, like his wife Rafaela and his daughter Sophia, are striking with their red hair ... "

Since 2015 I have been participating in the "Graphic Class" school. By teaching at the school and tirelessly accepting the annual call from my colleague Brigitte Biribauer (Math and Sports) to sign up for the VCM, I just run with it. In the foreground, this is the place to be and the fun of running! My companions and I have a wonderful day at the marathon and, as always, we were sensationally fast ... ;-)

This year already marks my 4th participation in a running event in Austria. I have planned to go running regularly, but this is only possible if, by enrolling, one forces oneself to prepare for the various running events... ;-)
